Community Involvement

Manchu Group views community involvement as an opportunity to drive positive change in society. We believe that respectful engagement with local communities is critical to the success of projects and long-term operations. Through AnswertheCall Community Economic Development NPC (AnswertheCall-CED), we support individuals and organizations that work to enrich and strengthen our local communities across the country.

AnswertheCall-CED contributes towards the improvement of community social and economic well-being through properly structured and executed strategies and interventions. Our community involvement focuses on four areas as follows:

• Arts and Culture programmes focus on building relevant capacity and skills necessary to grow this sector of the economy.
• Social Upliftment efforts are channeled into key projects seen as critical to improving the lives of vulnerable individuals and communities.
• Indigenous Knowledge speaks to efforts to evoke an African Renaissance to address challenges of capacity and capability on the continent.
• Agricultural Demonstration serves to build agricultural skills and capacity, and develop sustainable agricultural practices, among existing and emerging farmers around the country and technologies that can help accelerate the adoption of game-changing innovations.
